Story of the Nile by EyeKissa Story of the Nile by EyeKissa
My first piece for the year 2013 C; I have to say I think I am starting is out right. everything is just going swell and I have made it a personal goal of mine to really work on my art. So far it is paying off. Back to this piece. I made it with water colors and it probably took 10 or 12 hours. I am surprised I didnít give up on it and lose my patience. There is no true point to this piece it just popped up in my head when sleeping. Oh and the breed of cat is an Egyptian Mau. Now off to making more couple art ;3;

Art belongs to Casey K. / ikissa

I don't think you know just how inspiring this piece is to me. O__O I just got a set of watercolors for Christmas, but I haven't tried them out yet. But this ... this is the inspiration kick I need! The way you colored the wall is gorgeous; it looks like ancient parchment and cracked wall! That is what I want to achieve with watercolors, and I will force myself to live up to something as wonderful as this. :w00t: THANK YOU FOR BEING AWESOME!

I really like the texture you used to make this. Or is this water color paper that you used? Anyway, I think the perspective is really well done on this. I like that the cat is the focal point, but you also concentrate on the hieroglyphics and the Egyptian feel and design.
